Grooved bullets.

For ten years, GPA is providing monometal bullets in different densities.
Most are used mainly in Africa, little home.
On the photo on the right you can see the grooved bullet for lion. The trick is a grooved bullet and a precut tip which releases 4 petals.

I never tried them, but many friends are content with them, from leo to ele.

They are not new at all.

But with the profileration of copper monometal bullets and the initial suspicion against leadless bullets this bullets opened a window to new marketing arguments.
"Less barrel wear" : Nonsense, barrel wear out from flame corrosion just behind the chamber.
"Less starting pressure, higher muzzle velocity" : If realized to extrem low values, the burning of the powder may be influenced in a negative manner.

But today most of the copper monometals are grooved/banded.
