leaving on July 12 from JFK. Going to Vic Falls where I will hunt buffalo in the Woodlands with Darren Ellerman. My first hunt in Zim. The mad scramble to gather all my gear and paraphernalia has commenced. Taking my 404 Jeff and Hornady DGS and DGX ammo. Also taking my 300 win mag, I'd rather take my 30-06 as I feel that the win mag is more effective only at distances beyond my personally imposed limits, but ammo has been scarce.
Anyone on SA204 look for a short fat old guy wearing an AR hat.
