Fallow BuckSeditse
Hi guys,
A friend and I will be hunting in Seditse for plains game at the end of August. It will be a 2-1 hunt and we are fairly flexible on target species. I think the only thing we are both after is a Kudu but beyond that we're easy.
Having not been to Africa before, and never seen the antelope inthe flesh, we have decided to take the first day in the Kruger to familiarise ourselves with the options and the terrain.
We'll also be taking in some wing shooting during the week.
Has anyone hunted Seditse? Also is there anything we should pay attention to, or focus on?
Thanks,
FB

MARK H. YOUNGFB,
I think a day in Kruger would be a good thing even if you were not hunting. I do think you will find that the Kruger species you see will not all be the same as the animals you find on your hunt. I am not familiar with Seditse but most RSA hunting areas are stocked with a great variety of animals and often all these animals are not indigenous to the hunting area. This is not a problem but you might want to be aware of it.
Regards,
Mark

30ott6In Botswana, "sediste" means horse hide. Not sure what Fallow Buck is hunting!
