Is anyone else having problems getting e-mail from Namibia? Seems like it takes 2 to 3 weeks to get a response to e-mails I send there.

Several weeks ago, my PH sent me 3 or 4 emails which I never received. I ended up calling him on the phone.

I've noticed the same thing.

According to some friends of mine phone outage is quite common. It is often the result of the copper wires going missing. Imagine that! That might explain a temporary outage but not phone working and internet not. That is unless they are using cell phones as many do and only the computers are on land lines.

I've noticed it as well on and off since '04.
