Dead EyeIs Zim finished as a hunting destination?
Government corruption, outfitters breaking the rules and anti hunting are not unique to Zim.
What you have just witnessed is the future challenge of our sport no matter where you choose to enjoy it. Better get used to it. Facebook's influence is larger than DSC or AR.

Dave FulsonAs usual, I agree exactly with what Todd said. Todd, do you have any brothers you could turn onto AR? Common sense seems to be a Williams strongpoint.

MikeBurkeAs long as I am able I will hunt in Zimbabwe. The good operators need and deserve our support.
After multiple trips in different areas and with different operators and PHs I have not experienced a single problem or anything that caused me concern in Zimbabwe.
With the amount of information available today on the internet it is fairly easy to identify the good operators and proper areas to hunt. Eight or ten years ago this information was not as readily available and it was easier to make a mistake, there is hardly any excuse for it today.

MJinesThe operators and professional hunters in Zimbabwe as a general rule set the standard for Africa in my opinion. The good operators epitomize the model for professional hunters and conservationists. The fact that they do so under conditions that can be challenging to say the least is a credit to their tenacity and resourcefulness. They truly are the thin red line between the preservation of game and the eradication of game in Zimbabwe. They absolutely deserve our support and encouragement. There are far more good apples in the Zimbabwe barrel than bad apples that is for damn sure.
