BoghossianRe: Buffalo, Boddington and Bob Penfold
At least that was a fairly unbiased piece of reporting. For once they didn't describe the sums paid as "several hundred thousand dollars" or start adding adjectives about the "innocent creatures" being "blasted away by Texas oil millionaires and European aristocrats"....
BTW that is a nice buffalo, should make a nice skull mount!
Did the guides tell you roughly how many charges they get a year??

NitroXHa Ha, Ray. Very funny.
Its funny what a peroxide solution does to bone and a chain saw to the "cores".
Actually the horns come off quite quickly when being boiled.

DaleA friend and I just got back from a hunt in Arnemland with Graham Williams of Australian Buffalo Hunters. We stayed in tents along a small stream, and hunted on foot. Probably not as classy as Boddington, et al, but we had a great time. I got a bull that scored 101-1/2. They said he was about 13 to 14 years old. They have no predators to worry about (other than humans) so they can grow old. I will post a picture if someone can tell me how it is done.

Email me the photo and I will put it up for you.
Otherwise there is a "How to post photos" thread on the African Hunt Reports forum I believe.
