It has been a tough year. But the flu shots don't cover every strain and the bugs are always changing too. It just covers about 80% or so of their best estimates of what might be out there .
Actually I had mine last year. I hadn't had flu in years whether I had a shot or not . I had a buddy in the hospital and I swear that I sanitized my hands more and was more careful than ever and I still got it from somewhere. The darn thing of it was it just wouldn't completely go away for months.
At one point they gave me a steroid to help knock it completely out . It fixed it where I could hardly move so I had to flush that .
