Steve Barnett Dies
Mississippi high end gun dealer Steve Barnett died unexpectedly last Sunday. Seems cancer has taken another. He was always showing top drawer goods at all the conventions. Some of you may have purchased your firearm from Steve.

You can borrow money but you can not borrow time. Go hunting with your family.

Sorry to hear that. I have purchased several guns from Steve and always enjoyed talking with him.

Steve was a connoisseur, and always had the finest of guns and rifles for sale.

My sympathy and condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Condolences to his family. Steve was the perfect Southern gentleman and always had the finest of inventory and a pleasure to deal with.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

I didn't know Mr. Barnett, but it is always sad to hear of a fine gun dealer leaving us.
Condolences to his family.

Does anyone know what the status of his business is today? He had an incredible inventory worth $$$$. I last visited with him at the 2020 DSC Convention. I had not heard of his passing until today.

His son, August, is running the business. Just bought a rifle from August two or three weeks ago. He was a pleasure to deal with.
