Watch Your Step Hunting In East Africa!
Don't fall through the crack!07 July 2023, 07:17
surefire7Should I cancel my safari this summer, just to be on the safe side?
Well, I guess I could still go, if someone can tell which is the safe side.

lavacaFascinating stuff. Lot's of seismic activity in East Africa, even recently. Ol'donyo Lengai erupted not long ago and if you have hunted there, the evidence of seismic activity over thousands of years, if not millions, is immediately apparent. It's one of the most spectacular places I've ever visited from the standpoint of pure scenery. Also, the scientists clearly expect something to happen because on the sides of the mountain there are seismic sensors you encounter while hunting. Someone is watching it. That all said, we have no control over God's plan fur us or this world, and no assurance that the scientists' timeline of 5 million years is accurate, so I would not alter my plans.

The "scientists" have rediscovered the GRV.
One can jump over this small crack.
Unless you are one professional hunter I know he had a knack of falling into ant holes - while running!

They need to see if California has the same problem and accelerate it.
