ChristopheMorioRoyal Kafue today
Sorry to hear that Andrew.
It reminds me the same story we had in Benin, stupid people ... and now there is nothing left... Africa...

Brian CanadaAndrew, You have been through a lot! You are a very strong person. I am very moved by your story.
I hope the tide has turned for you and your group.

AilsaWheelsAndrew,
You have my condolences.
Africa is a beautiful place with wonderful people. Unfortunately, success breeds envy. Especially across racial lines in the post independence era. I have read about your new president and pray for better times for you and the people of Zambia.
As long as you have the local community behind you then you should thrive and do well. All the best as you rebuild the past into a better future.

fairgameThanks all. The camp needed to be thatched again
It gets rid of the scorpions but not the two-legged kind.

Brian CanadaI like your sense of humour too. Every strong man I've met can have a laugh once in a while. Brian

georgeldI've always wondered how many of those
dry reed roofs burned.
One time in the Army is Germany we played
war games in an abandoned town at the end
of a runway. Jets took off over it not over
50 feet high.
There was a big barn with a thatched roof.
I never learned who or why but that barn
burned while we were right across the road
from it. Uncle Sam no doubt reimbursed several
grand for that bullshit.
Total nonsense destruction.
Even worse in your case as it put you out of
business until it's rebuilt.

GeoffM24Andrew,
Your refusal to give up is a testament to your character! Its goor to know that there are still people in this world strong enough to keep fighting.
It breaks my heart to know the camp is gone, but the memories live on forever.

Marvin JI totally love the idea of returning the pain in the form of new Croc bait!
