I´m planning another PG trip, this time to Namibia.
In the stage of checking around, I came upon this outfit which looks pretty good.

Any of you guys or gals who have huntet with Ozondjahe Safaris and Jerome Phillipe or heard about them?
If so, what was your experience?

I just returned from Hunting with the Jan Oelofse hunting safari's which is located in the general area of the outfit you are researching. Had a great time and took six animals Kudu, Blk and Blue Wildebeast, Gemsbock, Springbuck, and Warthog.(Could have taken a lot more)that were mature and five of the six met SCI record book standards. The daily rate 1X1 were $450 and some of the trophy fees a little higher but in the same general area. Accomadations were first class, and service and food were excellent.

Kudu hunting is pretty tough right now in Namibia and it took us 4 days to find and harvest a 48" old Kudu bull. Rabies have taken a toll, and my PH said he used to see 20-30 good bulls per day, where now it rare to see any shootable bulls. Saw 3-4 shootable bulls during my hunt.

Looks like a good camp and web page. I'am sure they seem like a good outfit, and you will have a great hunt. The people of Namibia treated me well and the trip was hassle free. Good luck and Iam sure you will have a good time.

Jerome is the founder of www.africahunting.com. What I know of him through correspondence is that he is a pretty stand up guy and is focused on promoting hunting throughout Africa.

While I have never met the man, I would be quite happy to spend my money with hi if I was piking an outfitter.
