Head TraumaC.F. Stigand quote
"There is something so fascinating and absorbing about elephant hunting that those who have done much of it can seldom take any interest again in any other form of sport. It seems so vasty superior to all other big game shooting that, once they have surrendered themselves to it's charms, they cannot even treat any other form of hunting seriously. Everything else seems little and insignificant by comaparison."
Taken from "Hunting the Elephant in Africa and Other Recollections of Thirteen Years' Wanderings." Highly recommended read.

pichon1Good old Chauncy was a fabulous writer.
Sadly, met his death at the end
of a spear.

JPKThe quote is so true. Hunting other game is just filling time between elephant hunts, now, though I really do enjoy taking my young son. But for him and my taste for venison...
