retreeverWill's " Hunting Africa's Dangerous Game "
Received Bill Stewart's book over the weekend and finished it last night.. Is Will a cat hunter maybe a wannabe but I can tell you,
he is an elephant hunter.. I enjoyed how chui kept eluding him but always being ready it paid off...Sleeping in blinds waiting for cats and then walking up to within feet of two sleeping lions...
But I now have a new perspective as to where to and how to aim for an eles brain and understanding how they hold the head...
My first ele was a blown head on brain shot...Hit too low under brain but did stagger the bull and put a second shot in him as he was spinning...He fell three times running away..but we ran out of daylight and found him by airplane made a big circle and fell dead 50yds from where I shot him..
I enjoy his dry sense of humor...Thanks Will
Mike

Mike, now that is about the highest compliment you could have paid me. Thank you very much.
Glad you enjoyed it.

Michael RobinsonBill, allow me to add my compliments.
I finished your book on Monday and really enjoyed it.
It is entertaining, filled with humor and a fair bit of excitement

, and informative, both for those who want to hunt dangerous game, and those who have.
I especially enjoyed your "Lyell" photograph. Not many could bring off, or would even attempt, that jaunty pose, with the Norfolk jacket, the walking stick and all that . . . veddy British, old chap.
Highly recommended to one and all.
