two days til blastoff

I am packed and ready to go. Rungua or bust. Some notes on my packing this trip. 50 lb limit per bag sucks big time. My tuffpack used to carry two rifles with scopes in soft cases, a shortie case with two spare scopes, binoculars, laser range finder and a whole lot of other stuff. I weighed the whole tuffpack loaded with those bare essentials and it weighs 51 lbs. with no extras. My clothes were packed weeks ago and we weighed them at 52lbs. and that is very conservative on packing following the outfitters recommendations to a tee. I like to take extra stuff like candy and stuff for the camp use but no joy this time.
