I heard a rumor today from someone that knows Mr. Friedkin that a big buffalo has been taken in Tanzania. Report was that it could be way up there in Rowland Ward. Any of the outfitters heard anything like this or about this? If I am guilty of rumor mongering, apologies.

Was this the same area where the new world record was shot last year? I think that beat JA Hunter's cow record of 66 inches. That was a very slim horn with hardly a boss (looked almost like water buffalo horns).
