ZEISS 1.1-4 X24
Has anyone had any experience with this scope on their dgr rifle ,I have been considering it but am unsure I like my leupold 1.5-5 quite alot
but I am intriqued by the red dot I think it would be dynamite on buffalo
Thanks Tony

Leupold makes the 1.5-5 x 20 VX III with the illuminated reticle (it's a small red +). Works great on buffalo and everything else.

It's a 30mm tube.

I have used a couple Zeiss in 1.5-6x42 which are great but have found some models have very sharp rims so it could be painful if you get hit in the face by it .
I prefer the Schmidt & Bender "Mag Eye model".

A S&B 1.5-6X42 MAG EYE RED DOT ILLUMINATED.

I guess what I'm asking is for info on this specific scope I have no doubt that the leupold is a great scope as is the S&B
I have one of these zeiss & I'm unsure of whether I really want an illuminated dot on my dgr when I have a perfectly fine leupold on already. Maybe i was at a momment of insanity when I bought this.
