Something quite unique? Harry Manners (Kambaku) Commemorative Rifle on Auction
Hi All
after years of planning, design & construction we at BASA have finally produced our "next" commemorative rifle. This one is built to remember the life & times of Harry Manners, author of Kambaku, who hunted ivory & buffalo in Mozambique.
Based on his favourite Mod 70 Winchester in .375 H&H (pre-64 of course) this fine parcel will be on auction tomorrow, SAT 19 Nov at our AGM Shoot, SWAT Range in Pretoria.
Apart from the rifle itself, which was re-stocked and reworked into classic commemorative configuration by Steve Fourie, the package includes a first edition Kambaku signed by the author, a hand-made ivory handled drop-point hunter, made by Faan Zeelie, a Tinus Tredoux case, and a magnificent leather bound album of pictures & documents donated by Harry's grandson, Andre Geldenhuys.

MJinesBeautiful rifle with a great stick of wood. That would be quite the package to take home. Please post details on how the auction comes out and who the lucky winner is.
