I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

dukxdogI had no idea that a Reedbuck could get so large. Had you seen him around before you got him?
Tremendous lion!

bwanamrmLove that lion but that reedbuck is a stud!
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

samirWhen we were in Tanzania we could have shot 20 hyena if we wanted. We had 6 following and trying to feed off a buffalo carcass that we were dragging behind the Land Cruiser to set up as a hyena bait. The area we were in was loaded with hyena.

Indeed in certain areas of Tanzania, Hyenas are a dime a dozen.
Charl was rather too generic when he said Tanzania, without maybe specifying in his hunting area.
There are some areas in Masailand where trying to find a hyena is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
One might ask why:
Due to the poisoning of livestock carcasses by courtesy of the Masai, entire populations of scavengers have been decimated; hyena, jackals and vultures being the main victims.
