This amazing Lord Derby Eland was just taken in C.A.R. The former record was 141-3/8 and this Eland green scores 145-4/8

One of our hunters just took a new world record Greater Western Kudu in Central African Republic. The former record was 120-4/8 and the NEW RECORD green scores 133-3/8

Super individuals. Eland horns always seem stubby compared to other antelope but not this one.

Terry,
The Western Greater Kudu is nice but......that's the most unbelievable Lord Derby Eland I've ever seen!

Wow, compare that beauty to a Cape eland!
Hey how many inches round the curls for the kudu? Do they weigh much less than the east african subspecies?

How are you measuring the Kudu? Length along both horn ridges and the circumference of the horn bases added together is the way I have seen it done. By that method, my Kudu was 142.7" The lengths along the horn ridges was 59"+ on both horns.

huntingcat,

Is your kudu a Southern Greater Kudu? This one is a Western Greater Kudu (which I understand are the smallest of the kudu races).

Terry
