Has anyone heard any 2019 reports?

No word on either area?

Last we heard of Chete was someone re-building the camp - which had been neglected.

Have not heard of anyone hunting there.

A shame really, as Chete is a great safari area.

We hunted there all the time Roy Vincent had it.

A friend hunted Chete this fall. The camp he was in has been rebuilt and was in good shape. Ingress/egress was by boat.

He got an elephant. Passed on a buff that wasn't to his liking. The buff hunting was pretty hard as I recall.

There was pg that he could have taken that he passed on, wanting to focus on dg.

Not sure if this helps much, but the new outfitters are evidently working to bring it back.

The "new operator" in Chete is "SafariSean" who fronts for Wayne Diederiksen, he posted here for a while and then stopped. He is also associated with Martin Pieters, do a search of that.

Not sure what's going on in Chirisa, apart from a lot of poaching.

If Martin Peters is involved, I suggest we give them a wide berth!
