I just watched an episode titled "From Texas to Namibia". One segment was a hunt for mountain zebra. Both hunter and PH talked about "mountain" zebra. The PH clearly referred to a herd, that was on screen, as mountain zebra. The animals were clearly plains or common zebra. The hunter did take a nice stallion, but it was no mountain zebra being heavily shadow striped.

This makes me wonder if the PH was putting one over on the client or if he was just not knowledgeable.

Probably poor editing. which I notice a good bit of on film and print.

To me just shows clueless some of the tv hunters are. They talk like they really know alot but most are just followers at best
