Mauser K98Shipping Your Rifle Home From Namibia
O.K. your hunt is over in Namibia.
Can you ship your rifle home by FedEX,UPS, etc.?
What rules would you have to go through?
The reason for doing this, is my wife and I would like to do some Europe travel on our way home.
Thanks for any info.

ExpressYourselfI do not know about using a shipping agent but perhaps consider using a customs clearance agent that is bonded to assist you. I believe the Gunrunner is no longer clearing or storing firearms when transiting the UK. Consider contacting PDQ freight. PDQ is experienced with firearms transits, they have a bonded warehouse, can store firearms, and are based very close to Heathrow. Just explain what you want to do and they can assist you with the process and pricing:

MARK H. YOUNGMauser,
Shawn is correct if you travel through London PDQ can hold your guns for the duration of your European travel. They will meet you on arrival, take possession of your guns, meet you again upon your return and help you check in for your flight home. I've had excellent service from PDQ.

Mauser K98Thanks guys.
Maybe I should have added we want to connect flights in Frankfurt because Air Namibia is non-stop to Windhoek.

quickshotyou might want to just rent a rifle and not worry about the gun issue at all.

Tim CarneyGive Rosenthal gunshop in Windhoek a call (google them) and ask if they can ship to you and how much it would cost.
