CunninghamCourier Service in London needed.
I need information for a Courier Service in Londons Gatwick Airport. My friend has been quoted a fee 744 pounds for a 4 hour layover. He will be on Continental coming in and Air Namibia going down. Are there any services out there that are more resonable than this? Arrival and departure will be at Gatwick.

larryshoresI used James Pedder of Safari Services 2 years ago both going and coming. I don't remember the cost. I will see if I can find the info.

T.CarrIf you are arriving and departing from the same airport, I thought that you did not need a firearms courier. It is my understanding that you only need a bonded courier when transfering from one airport to the other (or when your layover is more than 24 hours).

Terry

MARK H. YOUNGCunningham,
Terry is correct as usual. If a person is arriving and departing from the same airport whether Gatwick or Heathrow there is no need for a courier. Check the guns all the way through and don't worry about it. If laying over in London or switching from one airport to the other you have to enlist the help of a courier but you don't need to pay anywhere near that amount you quoted for the service. This year Richard Whiteley is meeting us, receiving our guns and ammo, taking us into London, picking us up after touring in London, taking us to the airport and assisting with check in for 235 BP.

shakariTerry is quite right...... but if you do have to transfer between airports etc - the best man to use by far is Ron Wharton who can be contacted at wharton@bunduki.co.uk
