Aaron RustAfrica trip cancelled
WOW, I am having my 5th bout of diverticulitus. My Doctor is forbiding me to go to Liberia scheduled for the 23rd. I get to stay here and have surgery. I have 5 guys from my church still going to build buildings. This sucks.
Those of faith can pray for me... I'm bummed.

David CulpepperI feel for you, a couple of years ago I had to cancel a trip at the last minute due to illness. Not much fun being laid up thinking about what you are missing.
Hope things go well for you.

BiebsAaron, I guess "He" has other plans for you this year. Go with the flow of life and don't look back.

DTalaAaron, I had numerous bouts with diverticulitis and finally gave in and had the surgery to remove 3-4 inches of the colon.
Best damn decision I ever made, no more diverticulitis, no more irritable bowl, 1000% better off.
warning...watch what that first solid food is after surgery...

pagosawingnutI've only had one bout with it and if you are on your 5th, it's time to take care of yourself. There's always next year for you to go. Prayers and good wishes.

PhilRI had the same problem for years....used to carry a fresh Doxy prescription at all times. Finally had over a foot of large intestine removed. Sure did cut down the gastro problems. Good luck!
