I've been reading "Facing The Charge-African Dangerous Game" by Michael J. Miller. Picked it up from the Sporting Classics Store after first reading an excerpt from the book in the latest Sporting Classics Magazine. If you haven't read the book-you all should. Fantastic reading combined exquisite writing from Miller's 63 African Safaris, starting back in the late 70's and forward. Miller's stories, as told to Scott T. Longman, with a foreward by Fiona Capstick. Highly recommended and a bargain at $22 USD. Some of the best African reading and stories I've ever been privileged to enjoy.

Just finished it. Well worth the read, well worth the money. Great reading throughout, with an amazing story and tribute near the end of the book regarding the late PH Andre De Kock who Mike had Safari'd with 33 times before Andre was murdered in cold blood in Tanzania. Also a great tribute to Mike's favorite tracker, Simon, who actually saved Mike's life at one point in time.

Yes, he also talks briefly about his profession as a pharmacist, the jewelry connection (including the story about a major theft of precious jewels that he had in, I believe, a suitcase,) etc. I didn't know about his connection with Charlie Kirk and Turning Point, USA. Very interesting!
