Robert johnsonWayne This sounds like another "Donated Hunt." If it is,I have found it's usually better to pay full price. Few reputable outfitters market their hunt's through "Donated Hunts" I hope I am wrong.

MontanaThis is not a donated hunt. I booked the hunt in Jan. of this year and now I am not able to go. I have the option of rolling this hunt over to next year if I want to. I have decided that if somebody on this board wants to go they can save some bucks. Instead of cash I am looking for a Swaro scope 3x12x50

Matt NormanThere are many very reputable Outfitters that donate hunts.

Robert johnsonWayne you should post the outfitter name & his trophy fees, if his fees are fair. I am sure someone would like take you up on your offer, and save a few bucks.
I don't' want to high jack this post on a totally different subject. I know many outfitters have successfully marketed their hunts with the use of "Donated" hunts. But in most hunting industries if you give your services away you go bankrupt! Unless you have hidden, or inflated trophy fees. We all know how it works, give away your daily fees and inflate your trophy fees. When it all said and done the hunters never save a dime, but hundreds of hunts are sold.

MontanaI know you are trying to be helpful but what part of This is not a donated hunt is not clear.
This is booked through Tony Da Costa. Huntpak NB3 with Boet Nel Hunting Safaris $4800 is the cost of the hunt. I have paid $2400 as a down payment. The hunt is fully transferable I have this in writing from Sylvia. The airfare is reserved. My contract states that Boet Nel will be guiding me personaly.
If someone takes me up on this they will owe $2400 to Boet and airfare and everything else that goes along with this. I am just looking for some of my $2400 deposit back.
I can not go for reasons related to my business.

LCooperI Just returned from a hunt with Boet Nel. It was my first African, but it will not be my last. I would like to make my next hunt with Boet Nel, enjoyed his company as well as the hunt. Good luck selling your hunt it sounds like a good buy.... Lee Cooper in Alaska
