JefffiveWhy Zebras Have Stripes?

Their new study has shown that stripes don't deter horse flies from a distance, with both zebras and domestic horses experiencing the same rate of circling from the flies. SaeedI have read so many different explanations, not sure any of them is actually correct.
Once, only once, we came across a very strange thing about the zebra stripes.
Fat was only found under the black stripes.
No fat under the white!!
Several of us there, with almost a hundred years of hunting experience, and seeing hundreds of zebra skinned, have seen nothing like it.
