Take A Fat Guy With You

Here is a short story I wrote that was published in Don Trump Jr's magazine Field Ethos.

It is kind of brutal for most folks but not for us. It's a true story.

The editor butchered this line "There are no more rhinos but lots of elephants, leopards or lions, but common plains game is abundant" which is in the first paragraph.
It should have read, "There are no more rhino but lots of elephant, leopard and lion. The common plains game is abundant, and the area is a birders paradise".
Not sure why he did that.

Good story - bad editing. send The Gimp an email and tell them to at least correct the butchery so it's readable...

I enjoyed the read and how you led us to the reason behind the title. I was also interested in the horseback riding, until it sounded watered down.
