Swift A-Frame 300 gr. has never let me down.

Now your problem is picking one of the zillion good bullets that are now on the market!

Since the search function is down I would like to ask for opinions on the Best or Better Bullets for Buffalo.
At 375H&H velocitys. I'm sure this has been hashed to death and wouldn't ask if the search function was up.
Thanks

I would recommend any of teh bullets that are made of copper, such as the Barnes X and many others.

Personally, I would not use any other bullet if these are available and shoot well enough in my rifle.

Second choice is bullets that have a solid copper shank, like the Trophy Bonded Bear Claws.

If none of the above is available, I would even use the Winchester Silver Tips, which are notorious for being breaking up so easily.

Wolf,

I don't disagree with anything Saeed or Steve said but you might want to consider the 300gr SAF. It has done a great job for me on everything including hippo.

I strongly recommend that you try the North Fork 300 or 270 grainers in both soft and solid while you are experimenting with bullets.

I use them in almost every rifle that we use. They have performed perfectly and are extremely accurate in every thing that I have put them through. These bullets foul the least of any that I have used, also.

Mike Brady is one heck of a guy and will be more that happy to assist you with any questions. You will talk to the man that makes the bullets. There are certainly other bullets that are good and will do well. I just hope that you will try these in your search.

I usually recommend Barnes X, Woodleigh PSP or Stewart bullets..........but (like Saeed) I've also used Win Silvertip when pushed. They're not ideal, but they'll do the job if there's nothing else.
