Mauser K98More"Planning My Safari" Questions.
Mauser 98 here with more safari questions.
O.k. you guys got the juices flowing with your answers to my first questions. Never to late to start planning my first African hunt, so I'm starting now.
Namibia looks best for me. Most people talk about Gracy Travel and Kathi Klimes at Wild Travel.
Questions: Should I turn everything over to the travel company and let them find me a safari or find a safari on my own and let them take care of the rest? You guys have made good recommendations and I would like to stick with ones that have good reports.

30ott6Generally, the travel agency arranges for your flights and hotel rooms. They are not booking agents.
You decide where and when you want to go utilizing a booking agent (or on your own) then contact the travel agency and they will get you there.
I highly recommend using the services of a booking agent. There are some really good ones on this forum!

BriceJoin Safari Club International (SCI) and attend the convention in Reno January 24-27. This is without doubt the most efficent way to become informed. Also a ton of fun.
