These are the giraffe images I mentioned in the
OW's LIVE African Wildlife Photos thread. I'll add some other critters to this thread (OW's LIVE African Wildlife Photos #2) as I get some more scans done. -TONY

The artists indicated she wanted them for reference purposes only. Markings of the Giraffes etc. I do not think she will reproduce your photo into a painting.
Thanks,

Tony the elephant in the middle looks pretty good. Any idea how big he is?

Outdoor WriterCovering several replies at once here:
Bob,
No problem on the "reference." I'm sure your friend, being an artist" is well aware of copyright law, so I'm not too concerned.
Dave,
The above lion photo is one of several I've posted. If you haven't yet viewed it, check out the
OW's LIVE African Wildlife Photos thread for more.
POW,
I couldn't get real close to that bull, so really didn't get a good look at the tusks. The group was crossing a river about a 1/3 mile away from the bridge I took the photo from. That said, even if I did get closer, I'd be a terrible judge of the bull's size since I don't have too much experience with the elephants. My most accurate comment would have been, "it sure looked big."
