JudgeGHow many carry own heavy rifle
As I understand the question, this has to do with carrying the "light" rifle while someone else totes the "heavy". If that is the query, read this:
An Unintended Buffalo and you'll see (at least in DG country) why now I always carry the "heavy".
You just never know. I honestly feel like I'd be pooping in a bag (or looking up at a lot of dirt) if I didn't have a .458 in my hands that day.

Geez 375LVR, what did you do to your knee?
It can never be said that I am not willing to spill a little of my own blood in pursuit of game. Where better than in in Africa? Crawling to get in better position on a herd of Wildebeest, cut my leg on a sharp rock.

Ann, please don't tell Jayne I just posted that

Good for Jayne, besides, you need to maintain yourself to drag my buck out in November.

Yes, and yes, carry them. Hey, that pack is heavy even when empty. It is physically challenged.
