Last nights news had a story about a college student who is going to eat a pet rabbit if he doesn't receive $50,000.00 by 6/30/05.

So far he has $24,000.00.

I am wondering if similar means could be used to covertly fund a safari...."I will kill this elephant unless you send me money." Of course, I would forget to mention that, while sparing the elephant, the funds would ensure the demise of a few buffalo.

Apparently (I lost the link to the story) some guy in Alberta has put up his grizzly tag for sale. Not the actual tag, that would be illegal, but he is offering not to use this tag (which may have taken him quite a few years to obtain through the priority system) if he gets enough money, I think it is on E-Bay. Don't kow what his reserve price is...
