What to make out of a Brno 21?

I once had the pleasure of examining a 22F with 23.5" barrel that had been rebarreled to .358 Norma Magnum. The conversion was of decent quality, being done by Continental Arms in NYC back in the early '60s.

The stock naturally had begun to split in the wrist area.
