Which .375 H&H???

If you just want a very good work gun you just can't beat Savage. It ain't the pretty little baby but it shoots excellent out of the box and gets the job done. I would guess it would be classified as a "blue collar" rifle.

I have just gotten my CZ LH 375 and will be sending it to Wayne at AHR. One thing Wayne noted was that they will slim it down as much as you like. The common concensus seems to be that the factory CZ 550 stock is "clubby" as is. Marc Stokeld has done some very nice CZ diet jobs; search something like a cz peep sight solution and you will see what I am talking about.

I would imagine that importing one back to the states may be a nightmare???

I still have a couple of years before I head to Africa and a new rifle is on the list. I may request a quotation from Sabi.

My 375 H&H is a Sako 75 Hunter. It can put all it bullets into a 1.5 target at 150yds

This is not a bad idea and I've actually had rifles built in the RSA and, eventually, been satisfied with them. Only question I'd have now is whether the gunmaker can get a TIMELY permit to export the rifle. I've a friend in Namibia whose South African gunmaker has so far failed to get the necessary paper to export his .416.

Yep - Aaron, but I am a Win ammo guy and need to shoot the H&H so I can use their ammo. I also wanted a more traditional type rifle. I have a 700 XCR in 300 RUM and it is great. I can get the same in the 375, but I really want the traditioal look and feel on a 375. Hope you are well...TH
