Right, I'm back from the US now, and myself, Gerhard and Frederik decided that since Infinito Safaris were the first to offer a "lucky draw"/competition like hunt, it would be wrong if we did not do so again this year.
Herewith the details as follow:
Now, the most important things to enter this draw is the following:
You must be able to undertake this hunt in 2010
You must be a new client to Infinito. Sorry guys, our friends that have hunted with us before are not eligible for this hunt.
Your prize includes:
• 7 Days (1 arrival, 5 hunting and 1 departure)
• Full services of licensed PH, hunting vehicles and staff
• Full accommodation and board (no alcohol, soft drinks included)
• Delivery of your trophies to our taxidermy
• Exclusive use of hunting area
• Daily laundry services
• Skinning and field preparations of your trophies
• Import of your rifle(s)
Your prize excludes:
• Airfare
• Trophy fees
• Taxidermy cost
• Alcohol
• Gratuities
• International calls and faxes
• Personal, travel and trophy insurance
Pick up and drop off at the airport $500.00
You get 1 Impala non trophy and 1 non trophy warthog included in the prizeTrophy fees as follow:

Observers welcome at $100.00 per day

1 Hunter extra $300.00 per day
2 Hunters + $250.00 per day with a maximum of 4 hunters

To enter you must be:
Older than 21 (import of rifle into South Africa)
Be an AR member
Have the passion to hunt ethically in Africa
Not a South African citizen
Not mind hunting in mountainous terrain
How it works:
You know you can come and want to come. You have the money to pay for the trip. You can find time in your diary to come. You have spoken to the powers be (mum, dad, wife, girlfriend, kids, the dog, the guys at the golf club)…….ok…now send a e-mail to:

We will make the draw like last year and inform the forum of the winner. Entries will close on Monday afternoon 1 March at 17:00 SA time.
You must book your trip within 1 week of the announcement.

JudgeGAmong other things, of course, you will have a 100% chance at great kudu and nyala (got within 75 yards of the biggest I've ever seen before he gave us the slip). Also, make sure you hunt some at night for a bush pig. You can't get them everywhere and baiting them will give you a chance at seeing some other scavagers and small preditors.

Damn, I wish I could enter. This will be a 1st Class Hunt. These folks do a great job.
I wish I could apply as well. I understand the why of the rule, but I don't have to like it.

Aspen Hill AdventuresI'm debating on whether to enter. I'm currently sitting in a rehab facility after knee replacement surgery. I have no idea how long it will take to recover from this (it REALLY hurts).
