douglastLooks like a nice place. Too bad he does not include price lists on his website.

Did you hunt recently with this group?

WPNA website without pricing is useless, and suspect.

GraftonI can personally recommend this outfit without hesitation. My wife and I hunted with them in August/September 2005. I submitted a short hunt report some time after the hunt. Great PH. great people, great location. No problems. I will hunt with them again as soon as I can.

GrumulkinI'll second that; a web site without pricing isn't worth much. The outfit may be or may not be suspect. I talked to some of the outfitters at the SCI convention in Reno who, per their displays and literature, seem to have good places to hunt in Namibia but their web sites give no prices and, in general, leave much to be desired.
I also wondered about the admonition to be sure to have their address when dealing with customs. Is there not going to be someone to meet you at the airport?

GraftonThey will pick you up at the airport.
If I remember correctly, part of the form that you fill out to bring in your guns requests the farm address that you will be hunting on.

You do need an address for the firearms form, at least you did in 2005.

I'm glad to see a personal recommendation posted. Perhaps you should bring this thread to their attention. They may be missing inquiries because of the aforementioned issue.

You see customs BEFORE you get out of the restricted part of the airport.
Sometimes the PH gets let through to say they are outside waiting.

If you took the time to look, you'd have noticed that they will send you prices on request via email. Lord what a suspicious bunch we have here.
I've hunted with Jan and he is one of the best PH's working today.

WPNWould your wife say the same thing had she looked at a department store website without prices? The point is that it's work for the reader. Why not include at least a brief listing?

Bill CSpeculation on my part, but perhaps there are no prices listed out of respect to his US booking agent, who was referenced on previous posts regarding Jan's operation.

cable68To get the import permit for guns, you need to have the aphysical adress of the farm. I was delayed a litte bit because I has "Posbus #" on my form. I now think "Posbus" is aequivalent to "PO Box".
