Very nice.

Honey Badger should be the mascot of AR. Playful, aggressive little daredevils.

Africa's answer to the wolverine! Only Rich would be so lucky to sneak up that close and get still photos! Gotta love any animal that targets poisonous snakes as a food source!

Already I was beginning to fall into the African way of thinking: That if
you properly respect what you are after, and shoot it cleanly and on
the animal's terrain, if you imprison in your mind all the wonder of the
day from sky to smell to breeze to flowers—then you have not merely
killed an animal. You have lent immortality to a beast you have killed
because you loved him and wanted him forever so that you could always
recapture the day - Robert Ruark

Honey Badgers are wonderful creatures, unless one has decided to target your kitchen, then they are a massive PITA. The little buggers can destroy an Abrams tank. Fearless and intelligent critter for sure.

Great video. Thanks for sharing.

Were there not a very well known writer who likened the honey badger to the human female, in that they are the only two known animals that will go directly for the groin?

we were hunting for a specific leopard in zim some time back. we sat in the blind all night long. it was full moon and we had half a dozen honeys playing around the bait etc. for most of the night. couple times we almost had them in the blind with us. thanks for restoring that memory

Mark Vallaro's trail cams took some interesting shots of the honey badgers fighting off bush pigs at our leopard baits. I think this particular site was set up for hyenas and/or bush pigs after we got the leopard.

I like the way these two are squared off at each other.

Possibly I shot this bush pig the next night.
