Terry BlauwkampMugabe disappointed in new black farmers.......
From
www.iol.co.za today.
Only 44% of the millions of acres seized from the white farmers is being utilized properly for commercial farming.
In December of last year, less than a quarter of land had been put in crops, raising fears of looming foodshortages this coming year.
Remember, forgivness is easier to get than permission.

AtkinsonIn truth make that 10%, all I have seen is patches of mellons here and there and grown over fields...I suspect starvation will result, the bush meat market will flourish and Zimbabwe will die for a time and return to flourish such as Mozambique is now doing, Tanzania did it, and hope I am right...but just a guess and no claim to correctness....

Jaco HumanMugabe should be glad they did so well. Usually they are subsistance farmers only planting for their direct use.
Terry don't worry Mugabe will get somebody to blame for the food shortage. Who will it be? Tony Blair or George Bush. Mugabe is laughing stock back in Africa.

Pete ESouthern Africa produced some of the finest soldiers in recent times: The Selous Scouts, C Squadron,The Special Air Service, and the Recce Commandos to name a few...many of these former soldiers went on to become mercenries, PH's and other adventerous souls. Lots of these same people saw their families and friends suffer at the hands of the Mugabe Government and yet not one has managed one well aimed shot to help alliviate the problem....

NitroXOne joke I heard last week.
Katel (or whomever makes them) is marketing a new Barbie Doll.
It is very thin, has no clothes, no shoes, no food, no house and no nothing.
It will be called the "Zimbabie".

wimpieThe way I see it , the AFRICANS do not realise that to have something good you have to build it. I have seen many times where AFRICANS have broken a very nice house down to use whatever they could cary away and build a shack. Why I ask you did they not just move into the house. Then some person will buy the land with the broken down house and uncultivated field and build it up to a propper farm once more. Some people just do not have that kind savy to use what they get to make it work.

Not quite correct. These dolls do have one thing! More viruses than you can shake a stick at!
