Would anyone mind if I started a thread/blog on my first trip?

JohnCrightonWould anyone mind if I started a thread/blog on my first trip?
I was thinking, for posterity and for my wife and family, as well as anyone else here who is a first-timer, of starting a thread that I will treat as a journal - I'll write my thoughts, feelings, preparations, musings and ramblings, etc. as I prepare for and take my first safari.
Would it be OK to do this here?

billinthewildGo for it, amigo. Make it interesting, not too wordy, and a few pictures if you actually get to shoot something.

JohnCrightonThanks, everyone - Saeed, I will post on the Report Forum, then.
And, in honor of the New Year, I am going to start it off under my real name, EricF, and probably retire my internet nom de guerre, JohnCrighton. Got too darn confusing with everyone calling me John and me PMing or emailing them using my real name of Eric
