BaxterBI told my 7 year old daughter about this story and showed her the pics and "Thank You" video. She thought it was very interesting and had no problem with the lion being killed under the circumstances and even said, "Once a lion kills a person, they have to be shot because they'll probably do it again." Then she admonished her cat Sherman not to bite anyone so dad won't have to kill him...

The innocence of babes.
In the end it is a sad story and these Lion would eventually have succumbed to poisoning or the snare.
Assholes like LIONAID should have been there to save them but they cannot afford the airfare.
That is the trouble with having too many Lions and in the future these conflicts will increase.
