Balla BallaLeather furniture - booking ofice
Just wondered which of our AR guests are promoting ( leather furniture ) in their homes !
My NZ home residence ( Africa Private Booking Office ) is an Anti's or Greenies Nighmare
Couch / Sofa in genuine Leather and European / Dutch Oak base wood
PS: Apologies to the Yankies for the flag, I have another genuine USA flag on opposing wall

Please post pictures of your nice Leather furniture if available just to get the greenies going loopy

Tight leather pants are a really big
TURN OFFfor me. I kind of look at them as odor traps. I prefer the smell of gun leather.
Cry 'Havoc,' and let slip the dogs of war;
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
With carrion men, groaning for burial.

Use Enough GunMy african safari room is replete with leather furniture, including a leather chair, a leather couch, a leather loveseat, leather footrests and all kinds of tanned skins on the floor, the gun safe and the big screen television. If I can get some photos posted I certainly will. I'm sure any greenies or antis would have either an immediate cardiac arrest or a major stroke just walking into the room!

Shooters Choice Probably Gives you a hard on.
Yup, leather is a turn off for me to.

Mink and Wall Tents don't go together. Especially when you are sleeping in the Wall Tent.

Balla BallaHi John ..
Toooooooooo many bloody sheep over here in NZ .... Yes I do need a couple of African Game heads to put on the wall. I need to make aplan as they say
Maybe I can get a nice NZ Pig or similar to start with and slowly graduate to cape buff or similar. I need to talk nicely to my brother and maybe he will let me take out an old buff cow next time I am over there !!!

Perhaps an encounter with the great unwashed.

The humble impala always looks good in any room, shoulder mount or skull mount.

Peter,
From what you wrote, I get the impression that you haven't shot any game yourself. Is this correct?
Just curious, after reading your above post, and not recalling any other earlier posts from you regarding guns/shooting, pictures of you with game, or your own hunting experiances. Which is fair enough if that is the case.

500grainsI would like to hunt the zebra subspecies that the pillow is made from. And please quote me for a dwarf tiger hunt too.

Impala skin draped over leather couch, ostrich egg lamp, in my living room.
Wildebeest shield mount over fireplace, black-backed jackal skin thrown over pillow.

fla3006Great flag. Quarter-sawn mission-style oak furniture also has a masculine look and goes well in an office or trophy room.

This old "damyankee" will say that you don't have to give us Yankees any apologies for the Stars and Bars flag. We have a lot of respect for it- because some brave Americans fought under it once. ( It was a family fight -and like all family fight was a particularly vicious one) It's all over now -but I would think you might get some flak from a few "unreconstructed" Rebs about your referring to a "genuine USA" flag. The Americans who fought under the other one thought they were fighting under the real USA flag! ( yeah, it gets a little complicated sometimes. I just thank heaven that we got all of us back together again under one flag)

mikeh416RigbyPeter, I see that you set up shop, at least part time, in New Zealand. I'm entertaining the idea of hunting there. Can you recommend any Professionals there that you've hunted with?
Thanks.

prof242My youngest granddaughter has been looking over my shoulder (she's visiting for a week now that school is out). "Why can't we have a kitty like on that couch?" she asked. Hmmm.

Political correctness is nothing but liberal enforced censorship
Peter,
Are you from the US? Or spend a bunch of time over here?
South Africa - Zambia - New Zealand and you have a Confederate battle flag in your office. I love it!

jorge try women in leather pants that are much younger than you they won' smell as bad.

NitroX"Why can't we have a kitty like on that couch?"
Make for good target practice.

I can see it now. Peter puts on his pith helmet, loads up his double barrelled shotgun. Stalks through the office and there, hiding behind the jungle bush (pot plant) is the dreaded maneater.

Sitting astride its bovine victim (leather couch). Peter lets fly with both barrels .......
Peter needs a new leather couch to drape his tiger skin upon.

Balla BallaCombined replies to various questions posed ...
No I am not from the USA, but I am a USA supporter ... I guess having lived most of my life in ex:Rhodesia and being a honkey that makes me a (bit of a rebel) at least in the eyes of the liberals. I actually like the Confed flag as it is nice and colourful, I dont use it truly symbolically, just to fill the wall space and of cource tick off the liberals

I was actually born in (Port Elizabeth South Africa) and lived many years in Bulawayo Rhodesia, and a few years in Vancouver Canada back in the early 70's.
I have been permanent resident in NZ since 1976 and am a dual SA/NZ citizen and passport holder, so that suits me wonderfully as when I travel to SA I use their passport and when I travel to other places outside Africa I generally use my NZ passport, it is quite a good situation to be in really with bonafide dual citizenship.
I am a (retired security technician) and now operate from home as a (safari, hunting, wildlife, & Africa Investment consultant) working exclusively for my brother Alan the entreprenuer/rancher whom has varied outdoor and wildlife interests in SA and Zambia.
I have not hunted myself in NZ but I do have some good contacts for those considering or wanting to hunt here, just drop me an email off air anytime at my worldwide email and I will do my best to assist and/or refer you to local NZ outfitters or individuals as required.
I have also of late branched out into Southern Africa Investment consulting for my brother Alan whom is expanding his hunting & wildlife portfolio

Unfortunately the Zebra and Tiger are immatation (el cheapo replicas only)
WE have very nice Zebra specie in SA but no Tiger .... if you want Zebra Ranch hunt in SA then no problem, just rock on over ( July or August or early Sept ) and we will charge you the specie fee only for any 5 x plains game animals available on the ranch you chose to hunt ... NO DAILY rates at all
Cheers, Peter
