ChrisTroskieHorseback Hunting from Sabrisa Ranch
Little more than a year ago I posted a thread about horseback hunting in South Africa and mentioned that we now offers hunts of this nature in SA’s Limpopo Province... The post generated lots of interest and we received several enquiries regarding this type of hunting. One of the drawbacks of the original offer though was the relatively high daily rates and trophy fees associated to the offer.
We are glad to announce that we are now ready to offer hunting from horseback directly from our own ranch – Sabrisa near Ellisras in SA’s Limpopo Province! Because we will be using our own horses and property there will no longer be a premium placed on hunting from horseback as opposed to regular walk and stalk hunting. This means that clients who opt to hunt from horseback will pay the same daily rates as those who book a regular hunt.
One of the attractions of the hunt we are offering is that the animals are all free ranging on 10,000 acres of prime bushveld. Because of the extra versatility of horses as form of transportation, we will now be able to get into areas – previously inaccessible and get closer to game such as Kudu, Mountain Reedbuck, Klipspringer that are all free ranging.
