Frank BellerGot home - still a little worn from the long journey. I got the elephant, but no hippo. The rivers are too full yet, so we didn't see a single hippo. The tuskless cow did a mock charge or two, so that made the experience more exciting. We tracked the herd that included the tuskless cow for about seven miles before we got the shot. Was hoping for a 1/4 mile walk for the shot, but that didn't happen. Karl & I were hoping for a "Biebs" opportunity, but probably because of my "hippo curse", I had to walk my a** off before I got the shot. Next time I'm taking Biebs with me so I don't have to work so much for a shot. It was a great hunt, & I'm sure I'll try again, next time for a 65 pounder like Karl showed me from the client right before me.

dande_jackcongratulations, I shot my first elephant this year as well, being a tuskless also. We also had to kill another cow in self defense, dropping 3 paces in front of us. The cows are very exciting.I'd love to do it again.
