Hey Mike -

We are also already getting excited for our Cameroon trip. It's been almost 50 years since I've been in the rainforest and I'm already sorting gear for a hunt that is still 14 months away.

It looks now like we may be the first safari of the season and immediately preceding you and Russell. Perhaps we'll run into each other at the MO booth in Vegas?

Mike,
I love the video... shall I have my 19 year old son arrange the music for our 4 minute highlight reel? I am thinking Snoop Dog. Fitting for a couple of 50 somethings.

Thanks for the video, I'm looking hard at a hunt with Mayo Oldiri next year in the forest area out of DJA camp for elephant. Talked to them at DSC and that is the most remote area with no roads, get there by boat. Sounds exciting.

LOL. Actually my son wrote the music for a song recorded on an album released by a white rapper named Riff Raff last year. Perhaps the boys can collaborate to come up with a suitable musical score. I will sport a grill if you promise to wear your pants around your thighs.

Thanks Mike. The word we are getting is the area is stiff with French and Burkina military so we are thinking it is probably as quiet as any third world country can be at the moment...

Pretty cool way of getting all of your hunt into a four minute segment. I'm not much of a rap fan but the music does fit.

I think I saw the episode shown on tv. Obviously the 30 minute version.

Good hunting to you guys who are going soon.

I don't think I've ever seen a jet take off from a dirt strip. That was interesting.
Really like the video.
Best of luck to everyone.

Good stuff. Does not quite capture the heat and humidity and I thought the sound track worked quite well.

Lots of folks going to Cameroon next year and let us hope it remains safe.

Great looking hunt. I think I've finally found the perfect hunt for my Chapuis slug gun, which I bought with no particular purpose, just because it was a cool gun. Slugs for bongo and shot for duikers in the rain forest. Sounds like something that needs a plan.

That is a very nice video, what a fantastic place to hunt and that PH Herve looks like a real pro!
