Yup.Sounds like a plan to me.

Who are you hunting with and for what species?

For my trip to Windhoek last July, I flew Idaho Falls to Salt Lake; Salt Lake to Atlanta and overnighted at the Marriot. Put my stuff on SAA in the morning and had a great trip to JNB and on to Windhoek. No hassles anywhere and good price thru Tatum International Travel. Kathi here at AR is the one to ask for any of the available ways to get there.

I heard about them through a buddy.

He was interested in some of the same animals but ALSO Leopard.

Any clue on their trophy quality for plains game or Leopard?

Thanks. You can PM me if you prefer.

My hunting partner pulled a hunting report on them which sounded really good. The guy giving the report was also in they're brochure. The picture of his leapard looked big to me. I believe it is on they're web sight. He state alot of the species to be gold medal.

Bruce,
I am also going on my first safari in May with Vaughan Fulton. After reading a lot of information on this and other forums, I decided to go through Frankfurt to WIndhoek. I worked with Barb of International Journeys and actually saved about $500 over the usual Atlanta-Jo'burg-Windhoek trip. Also will have a 9-10 hour layover in Frankfurt to rest up or get some good German beer! Figure I can use the $500 for another trophy or taxidermy work.

Bruce,

We are going the same route in May 2006. I understand that it a very friendly way to go. German Customs will hold your guns until you depart for Namib.

All the best on your trip.
