Well, after years of dreaming....the deposit is in the mail and the contract is signed...I'm finally going to Africa, in July 2008. This is going to be the longest 16 mos. of my life.

My son and I, and my best friend and his son will be doing a 10 day plains game hunt in the limpopo, RSA.

I really have to thank everyone on this forum. I don't post often, but read the forum everyday. I've spent the last 3 yrs. pouring over outfitters in RSA and Namibia, til I was cross eyed. The posts and reports here, made the process a little less daunting.

The pkg includes kudu,gemsbok,blue wildebeast,impala,warthog, and blesbok. We will overnite at Afton Guest House on arrival in JNB.

The forum helped in answering questions about gun cases, saps, airline flights, etc. Can't thank you all enough.

You made an excellent choice with Cruiser. I was trying to get a quickie in this summer but they're all booked up. I, too, chose them as the outfitter for my first African hunt, in 2002. We had a great time, and the accomodations are even better now.
