umshiniwamVery cool, thanks Mark.
Now this is what a WILD lion should look like, in my opinion.

Die Ou JagterMark, the string on Impala liver made me think of you. We will be sure to have a fry up of Suni liver, kidney and heart just for you mate!

Mark DeWetDOJ - You know I am adverse to animal organs - however you can consume as much as you desire !
I will enjoy nibbling on finely prepared fillets and backstraps ! After all these years of hunting, I have yet to find the urge to eating parts of the animal that is so designed to store or transport waste by products !

Die Ou JagterMark, we must not forget to extract the small nugets that provide the beasts virlity, as they will make a good bite or two for starters with the G&T or Scotch.

Mark DeWetDOJ - These tit bits are also known as nuts - which any decent barman should provide for his regular patrons !
13 August 2010, 22:17
Die Ou JagterMark, they are TID bits not TIT bits. The latter would be tit bites and now you are in a whole different discussion which is not or should not be African hunting related for me.

This is prototypal PH hypocrisy!
When you helped me take my beautiful 42.5" buffalo near Binga, you told me it was
mandatory that I eat the testicles, etc. You even had them served up as appetizers. And here I thought you were just being polite in not helping yourself to a serving of Zambezi Oysters.
What's good for the client should be good for the PH.

Die Ou JagterKim, you should have seen him the first time I hunted with him in Natal. I ask if they would fix some Impala liver for breakfast someday and they said sure. The next day we came in about noon and they had the normal fry up except instead of bacon we had Impala liver and kidneys. As we sat there eating our meal I noticed Mark (like a little child) pushing his meat from one side of the plate to the other and I said "Mark don't you like liver?" to which he replyed "Not my thing Mate" and he had only known me for a couple of days at the time. Since then I have found him to a very pickey eater. Last year he wanted nothing to do with my Lioness. Hell he even has a hard time drinking white wine. Just not your sterotypical PH.
I would guess stuffed intestines would just be out of the question, eh.

Idaho SharpshooterMark,
as an oldtimer here at AR told me at lunch Tuesday, "I don't eat filters...".

Mark DeWetGentlemen - Thank you for all your words of wisdom, and encouragement regarding my gourmet delights. Believe me I have tried to be the "stereotypical PH" attempting to devour all parts of the animal - however I have to admit to my failings, and confess that I fall dismally short !
I will not be able to post comments for sometime - as I will be away hunting near the Zim border - with very limited e mail access.
You all take care - and I will be in touch.
