T.CarrThat was probably mine.
How to Look Good in Stripes Tanzania Taxidermy I now have the zebra rug at home, so if you want more detailed pics, just let me know what you are interested in and I can post some pics.
Regards,
Terry
P.S.
Imagestation seems to be slow today, so if the pics don't load the best thing is just wait a few hours. Sometimes Imagestation has "hiccups" but they seem to get fixed pretty quickly.

Jerry Huffaker did my taxidermy

huftax@sbcglobal.net It is my understanding that not all taxidermists have access to the big sewing machines necessary for leather and therefore many of them send them off to some other person for the leather trim.
Jerry Huffaker does his own as does, I believe, Mr. Wilkins.

Terry
P.S.
Jerry also leather trimmed my hyena rug.
I have seen one at the studio where I am going to get my work done. It looked really great and cant wait to get mine---woo hoo 5 weeks left

Doing mine with a black felt trim. Might be a dust gatherer but looks good.

BIG SAMOur taxidermist,(and others I'm sure), have a 'half-skull' form for zebra rugs.
Having seen these, I will not do a rug any other way. It is impeassive. Check with you 'stuffer' and they will most likely have a catalog, if not a photo, of one done like this. It has the eyes, the ears are up, etc.
I encourage anyone that may want a rug type mount to at least look at this. It may not impress you like it did us, but give it a look.
