A night in Jo'burg

I'm taking my first trip to Africa in a few weeks to hunt plains game. On the way in I'll be spending a night at the Afton house. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to go and eat that evening?

My favorite place to eat in Joberg is the Seafood resturant, I think the name is the Ocean Basket, or something like that.
Also the Italian Resturant is very good.
Louis will know the ones.

That is why I always stay 2 nights at Afton, so I can eat at both.

I will be there Oct 12 and 13th.

Try one of the Carnivore restuarants or Boston Barbeque ones - they are a real African treat.
When in SA, phone 1023 that is information and they will give you the telephone numbers.

I just returned from there this past Saturday. The folks at Afton House will take you to a number of good restaurants. Just tell them what you want and they will get you there.

I reckon the steakhouse everyone is revering to is the SPUR ? Great choice as well.....
